Things to avoid after lovemaking.

1. Empty the bladder. This is important to clear off bacteria that may have penetrated into the urethra (the tube responsible for taking out urine from the body) during intimacy.

2. Take a glass of water. The more water you take, the more your frequency of peeing. Since peeing is essential after making out, taking water after the act would increase your chance of urinating more to wash away any germ that may have hung inside the urethra.

3. Wash your hands with soap and water. This is one of the best ways of getting rid of the bacteria that you may have picked from your partner in the process of touching his/her private organ.

4. Get tested for STDs. This is needed if you have intimacy with a new partner whose lovemaking history you don’t know, so as to treat yourself on time when there is a case of infection.
