A man lost in the ocean was fortunate to be rescued by a passing vessel after his speedboat capsized at Forcados Offshore, Delta State.
Reports indicate that the man had gone out on his speedboat when it overturned. He managed to stay afloat using his fuel tank until the crew aboard the MV Omenma spotted him while returning to shore after a project.
He spent approximately four hours in the water before being located.
“Him body don dey white,” one crew member remarked upon seeing the man floating.
“He don white finish,” another added, highlighting the effects of prolonged exposure to the water on his skin.

Another user commented: “This happened at Forcados Offshore, Delta State. His speedboat capsized at 1200Hrs on that day…so he managed to use his fuel tank for buoyancy while drifting. A vessel named MV Omenma was making way after a project, & she sighted him afar at about 1625Hrs for rescue.”
