Sir Alex Ferguson and the Manchester United football board have been barred from entering the Manchester United dressing room at Old Trafford after matches.
This decision follows the club’s new part owner INEOS stripping Ferguson of his multi-million-pound ambassadorial role as part of a comprehensive cost-cutting initiative.
The legendary manager has served as a global ambassador for United since retiring from his managerial position 11 years ago. However, he will cease to receive his substantial salary after the current season as part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s budgetary measures.

United denies having directly banned Ferguson from the changing room, stating instead that there is now a “collective understanding” regarding who may enter.
