An expert has suggested that King Charles may have sent a “hidden message” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about a potential return to Royal duties.
Since their departure from ‘The Firm’ in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with the Royal Family has deteriorated, as reported by the Express.
Following their explosive Netflix documentary and Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’, tensions have risen, particularly affecting Harry’s ties with his father and brother, Prince William.
However, a friend of King Charles hinted last year at a possible reconciliation between the monarch and his son, drawing parallels with the second chance given to Prince Andrew.
Tom Sykes, speaking on The Daily Beast podcast, relayed insights from a Royal family friend: “A family friend of the King’s [has said] that it was clear there had been a willingness to bring Andrew in from the cold, and, intriguingly, hinted that it could be a template for future reconciliation with his son.”...Read Full Article [Click Here>]
He added, “The extent to which the King has publicly made it clear Andrew is still part of the family has caught some people by surprise.”
Sykes concluded, “But ultimately, he has the interests of the monarchy at heart, and that means a united family, whatever its problems. Hopefully that message is getting through to Harry and Meghan.”, reports the Daily Record.
Recent reports suggest that Charles is eager for his family to reconnect, and Harry is keen to visit his home country more frequently, despite the King leaving him without a UK residence, according to the Mirror.
