The Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended four individuals suspected of armed robbery and recovered a stolen vehicle in the Karu Local Government Area.
On Sunday, October 6, 2024, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the arrests, identifying the suspects as Salim Hussain, Abdulkadir Musa, and Dimas Danja, who were taken into custody by operatives from the Maraba ‘A’ Division. Another suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was arrested in the New Karu Area.
According to Nansel, the suspects admitted to being part of a gang responsible for numerous robberies in Mararaba and surrounding areas. During the initial operation, police recovered a fabricated rifle, a knife, and criminal charms.
