On Wednesday, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar hosted a delegation from the Kashim Imam family at his Asokoro residence in Abuja. The delegation was there to formally request the hand of his daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.
Led by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, the delegation included high-profile guests such as National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
