It’s Time To Collapse Wike’s Political Structure In Rivers — Fubara

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has urged for the dismantling of former governor Nyesom Wike’s political framework in response to Wike’s claim that his structure should remain intact.

Fubara emphasized that the upcoming Local Government elections on October 5, 2024, will offer Rivers residents an opportunity to establish a new political order that they can truly call their own.

During a solidarity visit from The Simplicity Movement, led by High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich, Fubara expressed his commitment to fostering a new political environment.

Fubara reiterated the significance of the forthcoming elections, framing them as a pivotal moment for the state. “That election is going to be the turnaround. That election is the rebirth of a new and strong structure that doesn’t belong to anybody,” he stated.

He urged citizens to participate actively, stressing the importance of defending the state’s resources and ensuring equitable access for all.

High Chief Jackrich reinforced the group’s support for Fubara, highlighting the administration’s focus on peace and progress as vital to restoring the state’s dignity.
