The Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended Khadija Aliyu, who is accused of stealing a seven-day-old baby girl during a naming ceremony in Keffi.
Allegedly posing as a pregnant woman, Khadija attended the event held behind the INEC office. According to Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel, the suspect stealthily entered the home while guests celebrated and took the infant, who was sleeping.
