Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has strongly denied rumors regarding the alleged shutdown of the Government House and claims that he plans to take terminal leave before the end of his term on November 12, 2024.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie, Obaseki characterized these rumors as unfounded and a deliberate attempt by mischief-makers to disrupt his administration.
The governor reassured citizens that his government continues to function effectively and is dedicated to fulfilling its responsibilities. He highlighted recent activities as evidence of his ongoing commitment, noting his attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Jesuit University in Ewatto, Esan South East Local Government Area, on Wednesday.
