South Korean actor Song Jae-rim has died at the age of 39. Seoul Seongdong Police reported that the actor, known for his role in the TV series Moon Embracing the Sun, was found deceased at his home in Seoul by a friend.
The friend, who had come for lunch around 12:30 pm, discovered the actor’s body along with a note at the scene. Police confirmed there were no signs of foul play, though the cause of death is still undetermined.
A statement from the family shared that a private funeral for family members will be held on November 14.
Korean outlet Soompi mentioned that a two-page letter was found at the scene.
Song Jae-rim’s notable works include Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), Actresses (2009), and the reality show We Got Married (2014).
