Considering what the Red Devils paid to acquire him, he has been branded the club’s worst signing. He is the second most expensive signing in the club’s history behind Paul Pogba.
He has managed 12 goals and five assists in 87 matches, an underwhelming return, per Transfermarkt. Only five of those goals have come in the Premier League. In comparison, 20-year-old Garnacho has scored 21 goals in 102 matches since his debut in 2022.
However, with Ruben Amorim taking over from ten Hag, Antony could benefit.
