Wait Until the 2027 Election If You Are Unsatisfied With Tinubu’s Gov’t – FG Tells Nigerians

The Federal Government has appealed to Nigerians who are dissatisfied with President Bola Tinubu’s administration to express their concerns through the democratic process. Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake, made this statement after the inaugural Council of State meeting chaired by President Tinubu on Tuesday.

Addressing State House Correspondents, Alake emphasized the government’s commitment to democracy and stressed that any change of government must occur through the ballot box, not through violence or insurrection. He commended Nigerians for resisting recent unconstitutional attempts to change the government.

Alake assured citizens that the security agencies are fully prepared to protect the country’s territorial integrity and democracy. He reiterated that any change of government must occur through the democratic process, not through unconstitutional means.

“If anybody is not satisfied with the government, the current administration, there is always an election coming, so you wait for election and cast your vote,” Alake stated.
