The Niger Delta Renaissance Youth Network has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to distance his administration from individuals promoting division in the region.
The group accused such figures of undermining the unity and stability that the federal government has been working to maintain.
In a statement released on Tuesday, November 19, the group expressed concern about the actions of individuals like Boyloaf and Ayiri Emami.
According to the group, these figures have been criticized for pushing narratives and actions that threaten peace in the Niger Delta.

He also highlighted the region’s challenges, including environmental degradation and underdevelopment, while praising progress made through initiatives like the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) under leaders like Dr. Dennis Otuaro. “We commend Dr. Otuaro for his results-driven approach to the PAP. His leadership has been instrumental in the stability we currently enjoy, but figures like Boyloaf and Emami pose a direct threat to this progress,” Ogbe said.
The group also accused Boyloaf and Emami of political betrayal, noting that they had supported the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the last election.
In their appeal to the Tinubu administration, the Niger Delta Renaissance Youth Network urged the government to prioritize engagement with credible leaders and community representatives genuinely committed to the welfare of the region. They stressed the need for inclusive dialogue and constructive partnerships to preserve the fragile peace in the Niger Delta.
Despite their concerns, the group reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu’s administration. They encouraged him to continue fostering unity and progress while ensuring the Niger Delta thrives as a model of hope and resilience for the nation.
