Activist Verydarkman Expresses Deep Disappointment In Victor Osimhen & Others After Their Defeat To Rwanda

Nigerian activist and vocal critic, Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as Verydarkman (VDM), launched a fierce condemnation of the Super Eagles following their disheartening 2-1 loss to Rwanda on home turf.

The unexpected defeat, which occurred at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, incited outrage among fans, with VDM leading the charge in voicing their profound dissatisfaction.

Although Nigeria had secured early qualification, the Super Eagles’ offensive, spearheaded by Victor Boniface, displayed a lack of synergy during the first half. The introduction of Victor Osimhen failed to alter the course of the match, despite Samuel Chukwueze managing to net the team’s sole goal.

Verydarkman expressed his bewilderment at why Nigerian players, who excel in their European clubs, appear to lose their competitive spirit when donning the national colors.

He asserted that certain members of the current squad are simply unfit to represent the nation. VDM called upon the Nigerian Football Federation to cease making justifications and to revamp the team with athletes who possess the requisite skill, passion, and resolve to proudly wear the national jersey.
