Alejandro Garnacho has faced some criticism from Manchester United fans in recent weeks after underwhelming performances.
The Argentina international scored a spectacular goal on Sunday to help his team beat Leicester City 3-0 at Old Trafford. Before coming on, he waved to a young fan close to the touchline and then shared a moment with him after the game.
Garnacho was brought on in the 57th minute with Man United leading 2-0 thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ goal and an own goal.
In the video, a young fan calls Garnacho’s name as he prepares to enter the pitch for Marcus Rashford—the young winger waves back with a smile.
The 20-year-old scored a spectacular goal in the 82nd minute to hand his side a 3-0 win. He also silenced some critics who questioned his performance against Chelsea.
After the game, Garnacho came over to the fan, gifted him his jersey, and hugged the excited fan as other supporters watched.
Garnacho will likely play a huge role under new coach Ruben Amorim, who will coach his first game against Ipswich Town on November 24 after the international break.
The forward has registered seven goals and four assists in 18 appearances this season, per Transfermarkt....Read Full Article [Click Here>]
