Ruben Amorim has decided against keeping Ruud van Nistelrooy as one of his staff members after taking over as the new Manchester United head coach.
Amorim arrived at Old Trafford on Monday to begin his new role. He replaces Erik ten Hag, who was dismissed on October 28. Van Nistelrooy had been put in charge on an interim basis as Amorim waited for the international break to ditch Sporting Lisbon and move to England.
The Dutch legend brought back some semblance of stability at the club, leading the Red Devils to three wins and one draw in the four games he was in charge.

Amorim has also decided to part ways with other first-team coaches, Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and Pieter Morel. The 39-year-old has come with his technical bench, which will be unveiled soon.
