The minors recently released by the Federal Government for their involvement in the hunger protests in northern Nigeria have arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Reports indicate that they are expected to have a brief meeting with federal government officials. The Federal Government had dropped the treason charges filed against them due to their participation in protests held across the country.

The source added that the meeting is scheduled to begin at 2 pm in the State House Auditorium.
On Monday, following a directive from President Bola Tinubu, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, informed the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday morning of his decision to withdraw the case against the protesters.
