Father Dan Reehil was chatting demonic possessions on the Shawn Ryan Show on YouTube, when he shared the objects he takes with him when he goes to work. The Roman Catholic priest, who is the exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville, initially said that he has a couple of bodyguards, but then spilled the beans on his tools of the trade.
While his first two items probably won’t be a surprise to anyone, Father Reehil revealed he was also packing a couple of relics in his demon-fighting arsenal. “This is the weapon, the rosary,” he said, holding it up, before adding, “my number one weapon”.
He said he also has exorcism salted holy water in his evil spirit combating collection, before moving on to his collection of relics.
At first Father Reehil said he had an artefact from the Cave of St Michael, an Italian shrine which stones are considered to be powerful sacramentals. But then he divulged his most prized possession for possessions. “I take a piece of the true cross, that Christ died on,” he said.
When probed further on his Jesus relic, he said he got it from a bishop in Rome. But added it came into his possession more than two decades ago, and would be impossible to come by now....Read Full Article [Click Here>]
“It is almost impossible to get, unless you’re a bishop,” he said. “But I had a bishop that took a liking to me.”
He told his host about how he had collected other relics over the years, before telling him how he puts them to use. “So I have those items and exorcism salt and the holy water,” he said.
“The salt is like throwing burning oil on a demon. They can’t take it, it’s just pure pain. And so you put that in the holy water and it bolsters the holy water up to a high octane.”
He added that if made right, when it hits someone who is possessed “they scream as though they’re being burned”.
