Nigerian actor Ayo Emmanuel, renowned for his consistent portrayal of police officers in Nollywood films, has passed away.
The news of his death was reported on social media by NigeriaMedia. According to a close family member, Emmanuel had been hospitalized while battling prostate cancer. Affectionately known as “Uncle Ayo,” he succumbed to the illness on the morning of Wednesday, October 23.
A heartfelt tribute was shared on Facebook by his close friend, Mickey Odey, who expressed his sorrow:
