A labourer died of electrocution while working on the premises of a private university located in the Ajebo area of Ogun State.
Monday Koja lost his life on Wednesday, October 16, due to a wrongful wire connection that resulted in his electrocution. Koja, a native of Benue State, was working with some bricklayers at Macpherson University in Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, when he attempted to connect electricity for the workers and accidentally connected the positive and negative wires, leading to his death.

Police officers visited the site of the incident and reported no suspicion of foul play.
The body of the deceased was deposited at the Ipara morgue, and further investigation has commenced into the matter.
