Musa Abdullahi, a 35-year-old from Sokoto State, has been arrested on suspicion of supplying food and courier services to armed bandits and terrorists operating in Ekiti State.
His apprehension was carried out by the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps. Officer Adeleye Abiodun, the Head of the Corps’ Communications Department, announced the arrest in a statement over the weekend. Abdullahi, a resident of Shasha in Akure, Ondo State, was detained in Ise Ekiti around 6:30 pm on Monday, October 7, 2024.

During interrogation, Abdullahi reportedly confessed, stating he was in the forest reserve as a food supplier to the suspected Fulani/Bororo bandits in the area.
He, along with several items recovered from the scene, has been transferred to the Nigeria Police Ise-Orun Division in Ise-Ekiti for further investigation.
