BREAKING: Protesters Storm Rivers Street As LG Poll Gets Underway

Protesters opposed to the conduct of local government elections in Rivers State took to the streets of Port Harcourt, the state capital. Meanwhile, voters turned out in large numbers, forming long queues at polling stations.

The protesters, reportedly loyal to former Governor Nyesom Wike, carried placards with slogans denouncing the election.
