Ryan Routh Pleads Not Guilty In Attempted Assassination Of Donald Trump

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

Routh appeared in federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday, just days after being charged for the incident that occurred on September 15, when he allegedly pointed a rifle through a fence at Trump’s golf club.

The court ordered Routh to remain in jail without bail as his case proceeds. He faces five federal charges, and prosecutors have revealed a disturbing letter he wrote, in which he admitted to failing in his attempt to take Trump’s life. In the letter, Routh stated, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whoever can complete the job.”...Read Full Article [Click Here>]

The letter was addressed to “the world” and criticized Trump for his foreign policy decisions. Routh had also researched Trump’s public appearances and a route to Mexico. He is scheduled for a detention hearing on Monday as further details of the incident emerge.
