On Tuesday, Paul Ibe, the spokesperson for former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, called on President Bola Tinubu to clarify the details of his upcoming trip to France.
Ibe questioned the duration and nature of Tinubu’s visit, citing the late President Musa Yar’Adua’s example as a reminder of the importance of transparency in such matters.
“Could you kindly elucidate the duration of President Bola Tinubu’s visit to France, or is this engagement open-ended?” Ibe wrote in a statement.

Ibe emphasized the public’s right to know about the travel plans and objectives of the Nigerian President, who is funded by taxpayers’ money.
