Comrade Adegoke Alawuje, the National Coordinator of the Disciples of Jagaban, a staunch supporters’ group for President Bola Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to exercise patience during the current socio-economic challenges.
In a statement released to the press, Alawuje expressed confidence that the situation will improve and that Nigerians will ultimately request President Tinubu to extend his term beyond 2027.
Alawuje stressed that the current difficulties are temporary and emphasized the need for collective support and patience to build a brighter future under President Tinubu’s leadership. He expressed optimism that those who may be dissatisfied with the President’s approach will eventually join the campaign for his re-election.

Alawuje underscored that the challenges are national in scope, not limited to specific groups, and implored Nigerians to refrain from politicizing the situation. He highlighted the importance of unity, citing a recent gathering in Kaduna State where leaders from all geopolitical zones pledged their support for the Tinubu administration.
“Nigeria’s current pains are temporary,” Alawuje asserted. “With collective support and patience, we are on the path to a brighter future under President Tinubu’s leadership. I am confident that Nigerians will eventually ask Tinubu to continue as President beyond 2027 because this hardship is temporary. Those who may be unhappy with his leadership style will undoubtedly join us in voluntarily campaigning for his re-election in 2027.”
