A report from Vanguard states that the 21st Century Youths of the Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience (21st CYNDAC) announced that the people of the Niger Delta, whose resources have supported the nation, will no longer accept the political marginalization of their leaders.
They pledged to prevent a repeat of what occurred during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure.

This was stated by the group’s Coordinator, Izon Ebi, in response to the trending hashtag #AkpabiomustGo.
According to the Group, they made mention saying, “It should be on record that never again will the Niger Delta people whose resources are used for the benefit of all will allow our leaders to be politically sidelined through the dictates of underhand political brinkmanship. Affliction cannot repeat itself and we will not sit down and fold our hands for the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan playbook to be reactivated.”
